My Kinda Diamond (Bold Gift x Quick Classic) 1990 Bay Tbx mare. "Karats" is a lovely mare who I was fortunate to find through the assistance of the late trainer, Wayne Carol. She is by the successful TB pony sire, Bold Gift. Karats has outstanding movement and conformation, which she has passed on to all of her foals. Her produce includes Ambleside Classic Cut, Ambleside Celtic Charm, Ambleside Touch of Grey, Ambleside Pixie Dust and Ambleside Diamonds N Pearls. Karats is in foal to GlanNant Scarab for a May, 2004 foal.

Outside Course (Stay the Course x Bancroft Beauty) 1989 Bay reg. Tb mare. "Natalie," a former show hunter, was a beautiful athletic mare, with an eloquent stride, beautiful head, long neck, and the ability to jump a 4-foot oxer and look as if she were ready for the Indoors! Her elegance and athletic ability has been passed on to her offspring, both ponies and horses, including Celtic Magic, ASF Preamble, Ambleside Grand Affair and Ambleside Tinkerbelle. Natalie crossed over Rainbeau Bridge in June 2003. Her absence is felt everyday, but her presence continues through the legacy she has left behind, most notably her daughter, Celtic Magic.

Sea Witch One (Eternal Prince x *Miss Lyphard (Fr)) 1988 Bay reg. Tb mare. "Marina" captures the heart of all visitors to our farm. She is a pretty mare who passes on her kind and gentle disposition to her foals. Her produce since we have had her includes Ride the Tide, Ambleside Formal Affair and Ambleside Peter Pan. Marina is in foal to Elite Earl Grey for an April 2004 foal.

Celtic Magic (Castle Magic x Outside Course) 1997 reg. Tb chestnut filly by leading hunter futurity stallion, Castle Magic (now deceased). "Kelly" was IHF nominated and had quite a successful in hand career as a yearling, with wins such as: 1998 Devon second place yearling fillies 1998 Delmarva Futurity Grand Champion, 1998 Delmarva Futurity Champion Filly, 1998 IHF Eastern Regional Third Place.

A pasture injury as a two-year-old curtailed her promising future as a conformation show hunter. She has now joined the ranks of our broodmares and we look forward to the many wonderful foals she will have with us. Kelly has established herself as a fantastic broodmare, producing two outstanding fillies, Ambleside Princess Fiona and Ambleside Celtic Melody. Kelly will be bred to Telynau Falcon in the spring of 2004.

Elite Who Me aka, Ambleside Cinderella, (Rambur Seven x Sassy Opinion) 1995 Grey 1/2 welsh mare. "Cybie" is a spectacular pony. As a 3 year old, she won the prestigious 1998 AHSA Zone 3 champion hunter breeder year end award. She was also the 2001 WPCSA National High Score Res. Champion Half Welsh Mare, NEWPA High Score Champion Half Welsh Mare and NEWPCA High Score Champion Half Welsh Mare. She has had one adorable foal, Ambleside Triple Play. Cybie will be beginning her career as Melissa's first riding pony.

Adrienne's Jewel (Hidden Creeks Lusty C x Shenandoah Gemstone) 1981 Sec B welsh Mare. "Sparkle" is a line bred Farnley Lustre granddaughter; Farnley Lustre being the most successful pony sire of the 20th century. Sparkle is the daughter of the famous show hunter pony, Shenandoah Gemstone, by Farnley Lustre and out of Farnley Cufflink, who produced champion pony hunters such as Shenandoah Gemstone as well as her full siblings, Flintstone, Firestone, Moonstone and Rhinestone. Gemstone was also the half sister to Shenandoah Opal, many times, AHSA pony of the year. Sparkle, a VPBA champion in her own right, has produced several lovely ponies, including Wellen Rosetta, Wellen Red Rock, Beau Soleil and most recently, Ambleside Sparklet.

Win Em Easily 1981 Bay reg. Qh mare. "Miss Ellie" is a wonderful athlete. She has done everything from earning her ROM in cutting, the "A" hunter circuit and dressage. She has passed along her talent and athleticism to her lovely filly, Ambleside Fantasia, adjacent to her in photo, and we cant wait to see her shown in a few years. Miss Ellie will be bred to Elite Earl Grey in the spring of 2004

CC Echo (Findeln Blue Danube x CC Silver Lady)1981 Sec B welsh Mare. We feel quite fortunate to have the Garnett family's, "Gramma Echo" as a member of Ambleside Farm. She is a lovely Findeln Blue Danube daughter, who passes on her grace and eloquence to her offspring. Her most recent foal, "Bonanza" will surely be a small pony hunter superstar! Echo is in foal to Elite Earl Grey for a March 2004 foal.
