Ambleside Farm is a breeding farm located in upstate, NY which specializes in producing high quality, pony hunter prospects. We began our operations several years ago outside Dover, Delaware. Today, we are located in the horse country of Saratoga, New York, a stones throw away from its famous thoroughbred race track and breeding farms.

Whether breeding ponies or horses, our stallion and all of our broodmares have a strong athletic foundation and have themselves shown successfully and/or have the pedigree which supports such a foundation. Our horses pedigrees include the famous hunter and performance thoroughbred stallions such as, Castle Magic, Bold Gift, Turn Too, and Lyphard.

Our pony breeding line is largely based on tracing its roots back to the wonderful ponies I had as a child, namely, Shenandoah Flintstone. After extensive research I was able to locate a few ponies scattered throughout the country who were actually descendants of Flintstones siblings!

Our stallion, Elite Earl Grey is a nephew of Flintstone and Elite Who Me is a niece, both through Shenandoah Moonstone. Adriennes Jewel is very closely related through her dam, Shenandoah Gemstone, and future broodmare, Lakeview Pocket Model is related through her great grand dam, Shenandoah Opal.

We find ourselves fortunate to be part of a wonderful "pony family." Many of our "babies" have now graduated and are beginning their performance show careers with their new families, which are as far away as Texas. This is very exciting and we look forward to hearing continued updates on everyone's progress.
